Build the data foundation behind music rights. You'll design the verified rights registry that turns contract data into trusted, queryable ownership records for royalty compliance and settlement.

What you'll own

01Core PostgreSQL data model for the rights registry

02Confirmation, audit trail, and conflict-detection workflows

03Integrations with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, MLC, and ISRC/IFPI

04Backend pipeline foundations: APIs, async jobs, and versioned document storage

What we're looking for

015+ years in backend engineering

02Deep PostgreSQL expertise: schema design, migrations, query optimization, row-level security

03Strong Python and API development experience

04Experience in high-stakes or regulated data environments

05Audit trails, data lineage, and third-party integration experience

06Founding engineer mindset: judgment, ownership, and clear communication
